This eliminates any issues with new doors trying to fit into the old door’s “slots”.
Definitely an improvement but still lacking the character I was going for.
Luckily, they are in pretty good shape, and the design is simple.
They were already painted white, but they were in major need of a massive cleaning and a fresh coat of paint. Then we sanded and cleaned each cabinet door and all of the cabinets inside and out.
Since we chose to rent out our house, we wanted to be realistic about a few things.
The house is probably not going to be returned to us in better shape than we handed it over. ) But also, there is a limit to how much we can earn each month from the house, so investing in to a new kitchen would be pointless, (at least until we decide to sell – and I doubt we will do it then either).
